Home Theater Room Lighting – Control and Ambiance

By admin | April 20, 2010

Room lighting control is an important aspect of the theater at home – especially if you have a front projector and screen set-up. Video projectors often demand a controlled lighting situation due to the lower brightness of their screens. room environment is another important function of lighting in a display that probably do not want guests in the dark (unless it is a really creepy horror). Reflected room lighting is a consideration and do not want areflections on the screen – an environmental point of view of a window or merely reflections of a lamp in the room. window lighting environment is important to determine the layout of residence or designing a dedicated space to watch. A dedicated room would of course be best without windows, completely – if you have the luxury of designing a room from scratch.

Glare control and image enhancement

lighting control room is relatively easy with a little 'planning. Atake your home theater in your living room or family room, you want to include a video display screen area of light is reduced or eliminated completely. Every time we moved into a new home for one of my first considerations (that is the sadness of my wife) is where we will place the TV in our room. Since the video is my profession, I plan our layout around the TV room and entertainment center (again the pain of my wife). Television is always on topin a corner away from the main window to go into the room window reflections on the screen. Our room was bright, direct lighting downward and nuances are not very transparent to reduce their reflections. When I have a front projector and screen in the living room – over 32 "Mitsubishi that we use for normal reading – we have vertical blinds that is not a pleasant task darken the room. We also have velvet curtains that can count on two sides ofscreen and a great job providing a controlled lighting environment for our projector. Want to do the same – are the video display well away from all windows, blinds and curtains on the windows of light use of executive power.

Setting the Mood

lamps, wall lights along the sides of your room atmosphere during the show in a special theater room is a nice touch and lends itself to create a theater-esque. Depending on the decor and generalThe theme of your dedicated room or scones may be normal or nice jacket very similar to the movie houses of yesteryear. Basic scones can be found at local Home Depot store or lighting. Largest theater in search scones are available at specialty stores. A dedicated room would benefit from remote controlled lighting – or at least be a touch of class to your theater. There are many types of lighting that is controlled remotely or their standard controller or control notbe included in a macro-programmed instructions in one of the all-in-a-kind remote macro Harmony H659 that I am quite happy to garden.

If you have a system in your living room or planning a dedicated room, the principles of lighting a single room theater is the same. No glare or reflection on the video display and much ambient room lighting for your guests during the event.
