By admin | January 23, 2010

Looks can be very misleading, you should have heard this adage often. And it is true in this case. Both LCD and Plasma are flat and thin versions of your old age of television. The appearance may be the same, but the technology used in both is very different.

First, plasma TV, it also eliminates the bulky and picture tube electron beam scanning of traditional televisions. The technology they use instead is loosely based on TLbulb. Cells form the entire screen, and in each cell two glass panels separated by a narrow gap filled with neon and xenon gas plasma is closed during the production process itself. The gas is automatically charged at specific intervals when the plasma is switched on. The charged gas then strikes red, green and blue phosphor, which we call pixel p, and then a television picture is created. Screen-burn of static images and the generation of heat afterexcessive use, certain disadvantages are that the plasma has been able to improve it.

Two layers of transparent material that is glued together make LCD panels. Technology differs from plasma in many ways. Of the two, the first layer is covered by a special polymer that contains the individual liquid crystals. Electricity is then passed through these crystals, which allows them to pass or block light. An image is created using a different technology for LCDs. ExteriorThe light source is needed in cases like this, when the LCD crystals to produce their own light. A fluorescent lamp is needed to see how the image created by the LCD.

Since there is phosphoric be burned in the case of LCDs, the heat generated is much smaller. Similarly, there is no direct emission of light from the screen itself. Maintain the budget and needs in mind, you can now easily decide to go for LCD or plasma … What do ya say?!
